- Lead Consultant to the Land Development Agency (Canberra) Molonglo Districit Sustainability Strategy (Project Link);
- Consultant to the Pask Group designing and developing the Living Up - Sales and Lifestyle Education Program (Project Link);
- Consultant to QER Shale Oil designing and developing the QER Sustainable Development Strategy (Project Link);
- Consultant to Brisbane City Council, to prepare and present a discussion paper on Climate Change Risk and Adaptation for Brisbane City, and to assist with Sustainability Strategy & Reporting;
- Consultant/Sustainability Coach to The Good Guys Queensland stores, National Sustainability Project, and
Retailer Manual; - Managment of the Department of Environment and Resource Management’s (DERM) Sustainable Manufactured Housing Program;
- Management and Facilitation of the Department of Environment and Resource Management's (DERM) ClimateSmart Retail Business Program;
- Key Consultants and Project Team members to The Hornery Institute’s Santos GLNG (Roma to Gladstone Pipeline) Sustainability and Community Wellbeing Project;
- Development and Implementation of the WATT Utilities Energy Auditing Education and Training Programs and energy audit consultants;
- Developing the Education for Sustainability (EfS) Curriculum for Brisbane’s first purpose-built Centre for Community Sustainability and model for affordable, sustainable design and technology (B4C Southside Sustainability Centre);
- Coordinating and facilitating the development of the ‘Ecofacts: Sustainable Small Business in Logan City program’. Business participants include, QLD X-Ray, Animal World Pet Motel, and Home Page Development/Green ICT;
- Developing and implementing a Tertiary Green Building and Lifecycle analysis curriculum for Ecospecifier;
- Development of the Ecofacts eLearning and eMarketing Platform for business (www.ecolect.com.au); and,
- Market entry, sales and marketing of niche, energy, water and resource efficient products and services.
Past Projects and Experience
Sustainability Projects
- Brisbane City Council, City Planning & Sustainability. Brisbane City and Climate Change Adaptation Preliminary Risk Assessment and Discussion Paper. Review of potential risk to BCC and Brisbane from climate change, and development of Discussion paper including preliminary risk assessment and action framework (2008-2009).
- Brisbane City Council, City Planning & Sustainability. Review and technical input to development of Corporate Sustainability Report and Strategy (2008-2009).
- Redland City Council, Environment Management Unit. Review of Local Green House Action Plan -2010 (LGAP) and development of report to Council on LGAP2 (Beyond LGAP). Review of potential risk to Redlands from climate change and development of report to Council including preliminary risk assessment and framework (2007-2008).
- Brisbane City Council, Natural Environment & Sustainability. City Plan 2000 Review. Review and revise City Plan and preparation of Draft Sustainable Development Planning Scheme Policy/Guideline and Draft Sustainable Development Code. Recommendations to BCC for progressing sustainable development through planning regulation and policy, 2007.
- Brisbane City Council, Natural Environment & Sustainability. Co-preparation of Inaugural Draft BCC Sustainability Report consistent with Global Reporting Initiative requirements. 2007.
- Brisbane City Council, Neighbourhood Planning. Lutwyche Road Corridor Neighbourhood Plan sustainability visioning and implementation, community engagement and plan making, co-preparation of Neighbourhood Statutory Plan and Neighbourhood Enhancement Plan. (Brisbane’s fi rst highgrowth urban corridor Neighbourhood Plan). 2006 -2007.
