Ecospecifier is a knowledge base of well over 3200 environmentally preferable products, materials, technologies and resources. Linking independent information with a powerful search interface, Ecospecifier does your materials research for you, delivering innovative solutions with a unique difference.
What does Ecospecifier do?
- Assists people to make appropriate choices about eco-preferable materials
- Develops the knowledge base and provides the infrastructure for the resource
- Creates a more sustainable physical environment by increasing the use of environmentally preferable and healthy products, materials and design processes
- Provides opportunities to engage in learning approaches such as mentoring, facilitation, participative inquiry, action learning (i.e. reflection and assessment = improvement in practice) and action research (i.e. critical enquiry and evaluation). The end result of these processes is the formation of a Learning Organisation
How are Four Walls and A Roof involved?
The Team at Four Walls and A Roof have recently joined forces with Ecospecifier to provide Australia and International interests with education for sustainability opportunities and programs. Our goal is to help create a more sustainable physical environment by increasing the use of environmentally preferable and healthy products, materials and design processes through the provision of an educational knowledge base.
