Ecospecifier is a knowledge base of well over 3200 environmentally preferable products, materials, technologies and resources. Linking independent information with a powerful search interface, Ecospecifier does your materials research for you, delivering innovative solutions with a unique difference.
What does Ecospecifier do?
- Assists people to make appropriate choices about eco-preferable materials
- Develops the knowledge base and provides the infrastructure for the resource
- Creates a more sustainable physical environment by increasing the use of environmentally preferable and healthy products, materials and design processes
- Provides opportunities to engage in learning approaches such as mentoring, facilitation, participative inquiry, action learning (i.e. reflection and assessment = improvement in practice) and action research (i.e. critical enquiry and evaluation). The end result of these processes is the formation of a Learning Organisation
How have FWR assisted Ecospecifier?
FWR Group worked with Ecospecifier to provide Australia and International interests with education for sustainability opportunities and programs. Our goal is to help create a more sustainable physical environment by increasing the use of environmentally preferable and healthy products, materials and design processes through the provision of an educational knowledge base. This work provides the foundations for our own range of courses delivered under our RTO accreditation.
