The Climate Active Initiative is a not-for-profit incubator, developing and funding innovative sustainability projects focused upon the development of climate active communities.

The Climate Active Initiative is:

• A Private Industry approach with a not-for-profit objective/outcome;

• An ongoing process of measurement, implementation and change;

• A stimulus for self, local community and business funding; and,

• An opportunity for community and business engagement and action.

 

The Climate Active Initiative's goals are to:

• Provide an opportunity and a conduit for businesses and communities to further benefit financially from climate active projects; and

• Teach businesses and the greater community about climate change, the impact of carbon/greenhouse gases, and importance of being climate active, energy and water efficient and encouraging healthy environments and lifestyles.
